Faith, Hope, and Luck
Faith, Hope, and Luck
Our faith in God often hinges on his activity—or inactivity—in our daily experiences.
When our prayers are answered, our faith soars. When God is silent, it becomes harder to trust him. When God shows up in an unmistakable way, our confidence in Him reaches new heights. But when he doesn’t come through, our confidence often wanes.
But it doesn’t have to be that way—it’s not supposed to be that way.
This 5-part series is guaranteed to transform your thinking about FAITH. As you listen, you will discover the difference between faith and hope. You will be presented with a definition for FAITH that will shed new light on both the Old and New Testaments. We will discover what we can expect of God every time we come to him with a request. In addition, we expose the flaws in what some have labeled The Faith Movement.

The Prodigal God
The Prodigal God
There is nothing like the power of a good story to transport us to another world. Some stories carry a delightful weightiness which can deliver us back to the real world with a deep sense of satisfaction and a suspicion that we’ve lost something valuable on the return trip. So back into the story we must go. Again and again.
The parable about a father who had two sons, as found in the gospel of Luke, is one such story. For millennia, people from every part of the earth have traveled there and back again, finding comfort, hope, and – if they’re really paying attention – offense. Because this father is unlike other fathers, and these two sons are startlingly like ourselves, no matter our gender, age or culture.
