In a time when religious leaders and a religious system made it increasingly complicated to connect with God, a teacher appeared whose message was profoundly…simple. Jesus arrived on the stage of world events and announced that God’s intent was to connect with, not confuse, mankind. To those who were considered most distant from God, Jesus offered this simple invitation, “Follow me.” People who accepted his offer found themselves captivated by an extraordinary faith leading them to adopt a lifestyle that turned the world upside down.

Ask yourself the question, “What do I worship?” You might be surprised by the answer. Do you spend the same time and energy toward God as you do with sporting events, concerts or even your Wii? Are you as fanatical about showing your praise for God as you are about showing off your house? If not, then maybe you’re worshiping the wrong things.
